Do I have to sign up for regular visits?
No, you can request a one-time service (a deep cleaning for accumulated waste), but it is not the most economical or efficient option. We offer twice monthly, weekly, and twice weekly service schedules to suit your needs, starting at just $20 per month. Once you’re signed up, we will do our utmost to show up on your scheduled days at around the same time each visit.
Why do I need an initial cleanup appointment?
We set the benchmark for a completely poop-free lawn on our very first visit. We spend time getting to know your yard: landscaping features, structures, furniture and toys that may be on your property. We also get to know your dog’s favorite spots – and if it’s been a while since you last scooped, that’s okay. Our initial visit is a planned extensive cleaning.
How and when do I pay you?
When you request service you’ll receive an invoice payable online via PayPal or credit card. This invoice will cover your one-time or initial cleanup.
If you’ve signed up for regular service, your first invoice will also include regular cleanup charges for the first month. Going forward we’ll automatically bill the payment method on file each month so you’ll never have to worry about a lapse in service.
If you prefer to pay by check for your regular service, please let us know in advance and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
What if you miss some poop?
If you are not 100% satisfied, call us the same day and we will return to pick up what we missed, guaranteed. We will not be responsible for any waste your dog leaves after our cleaning, or any that are underneath lawn furniture, leaves, standing water, toys, tall grass, etc.
Here are some tips for getting most poop-free lawn you can:
- Mow the lawn before our visit. Poop hides in long grass.
- Rake the leaves before our visit. Leaf piles hide poop.
- Clear whatever you can from your yard before our visit – especially toys and yard games, trash cans, lawn furniture, lawn art and landscape accessories. We will not move items to look underneath them for waste.
- Turn off your sprinklers the day before and the day of our visit. We work best with dry poop.
- Make sure we have access to your yard—if it’s a gate code, please provide.
- If your dog is aggressive or wary of visitors in your yard, please make sure to keep your pet inside when we visit. We will not clean a yard if we can’t assure our safety around your pet.
How does weather affect my service?
If we cannot clean due to weather conditions like rain, snow or freezing temperatures, we will return on our next scheduled day and completely remove any accumulated waste. Your service will resume and your lawn will be poop-free as soon as possible. After a short weather delay, our next visit will naturally require more cleanup. As a result, price adjustments are not made to your monthly service.
What about holidays or vacation days?
If your scheduled cleanup day falls on a major federal holiday, your yard will be cleaned on the next business day following the holiday. Notify us in advance before you take a vacation—we’ll credit you for those missed visits on your next invoice. If EntreManure will be on vacation, we’ll notify you in advance and ask that you leave the extra poop for us to scoop when we get back—we’ll always be thorough in order to catch up.
